We get the kids outside and let them enjoy our 4 lush natural grass playgrounds. Daily water play, field day, soccer clinics, relay races, water balloons fights and more! Outdoor music is always playing ! Perfect for impromptu dance contests between age groups!

One day per week kids enjoy in house special events ! Mad Science, music, exotic critters, arts and crafts, bands, magicians, character shows, and more take place indoors in our 7,000 sq/ft air conditioned facility or outdoors on our outdoor classroom!

Ages 4 and up travel by bus for a day trip each week to The Norwalk Maritime Center, Stepping Stones Museum, Beardsley Zoo, Spray Parks, Bowling, and more! Parents are welcome to join in the fun!

Kids enjoy tending to, learning about and eating our fresh vegetables from our garden. In addition to vegetables we also have flowers gardens . Kids love picking the NECDS roses for mom!

Its not just the kids that have fun! NECDS has events for the entire family! Parents and kids can enjoy our Ice Cream Social, Carnival Day, Outdoor Movie nights, Parent/child Camp Out, and more. In addition parents are always welcome to join in on our weekly field trips and Special Events !
